About The Program

So many consider Rowe their home away from home that it is only appropriate that this year we say “WELCOME HOME”

Enjoy a weekend of friends, fellowship and engaging more deeply with the Rowe community. We have lots of activities planned that are both fun and educational including s’mores with the Board, a conversation with Rowe’s Summer Archivist in residence, Camp Crafts with YPROGS and much much more. Let your voice and vote be heard at the annual meeting, as we talk about the past year and the vision for the future. You can also enjoy old favorites like the picnic at Pelham and Sunday chapel service.

Rowe Moving Forward

Rowe Moving Forward

A conversation with the Executive Director

Camp, conference center, sacred space, center of learning, global community…. Rowe is a lot of things to a lot of people, but Rowe is so much more than the sum of its parts. How can we work together to ensure that Rowe’s various missions are all given equal support? What does it mean to grow together, with each area supporting the other? The next strategic plan will focus on this and other issues. Join Executive Director Ben Werner and members of the board for an informal conversation and input session on this and other topics.

Let's Talk About CAMP!

Let's Talk About CAMP!

A listening tour with Becca

Are you a 70’s camper? how about 80’s, 90’s or today? Join Rowe’s Camp Manager Becca Angstadt for a listening tour. Help us understand what camp meant to you, what went well and what went weird. Share your favorite camp traditions, chapels, and tidbits, talk about what role camp played in your life and how that might be different in the 21st century. Whether you are a current or former camper, camp parent or simply a camp enthusiast, we want to hear from you.

S'mores with the Board

S'mores with the Board

Tasty treats and good conversation

Are you looking to deepen your connection with Rowe? Have you considered board service in the past, but you want to know what it’s really like? Join members of the Rowe Center Board of Trustees on the farmhouse back patio for S’mores and conversation. This is an opportunity to meet the board, ask questions and find out just how meaningful board service can be.

Rowe History with Ted

Rowe History with Ted

Learn about Rowe’s past from our summer Archivist in Residence

Ted Altenberg, Rowe’s summer Archivist in Residence, has been hard at work cataloging and preserving the contents of the Heritage Library. Discover what he has found and learn about what Rowe is doing to preserve its important history. Ted will also be soliciting photos and Rowe Ephemera and collecting Oral histories from interested attendees throughout the weekend. These contributions will be catalogued and may be included in a historical show case planned for the 2024 centennial celebration.
