About The Program

Join world-renowned activist and thought leaders Sherri Mitchell and Tim DeChristopher in a deep exploration of the many spiritual and social touchstones of our time.

Check out Sherri Mitchell’s free recorded program, Ancestral Guidance to Heart-Based Wisdom: An Online Class, her paid recorded program, Sacred Instructions: Indigenous Wisdom for Living Spirit-Based Change, and her video, Women, Water and Healing.

Sherri, an attorney, author, and teacher, draws from the deep spiritual awareness of her Indigenous traditions and weaves them into a multitude of complex legal, political, and social issues, articulating them in a way that satisfies the mind and heals the heart. She will introduce you to the Indigenous Oral Tradition and the Sacred Science of Sound. Indigenous Oral Traditions reveal a deep awareness of how we gather and store the information that guides our ways of knowing and being. Sherri is joined by Tim, whose climate justice activism along with his chaplaincy work demonstrate a deep understanding of where we have been, where we are now, and where we are heading, socially and spiritually. Together, they invite you to examine the old narratives that have defined our current reality and to consider creating new stories that are capable of carrying us (and all living beings) into the future.

Tim DeChristopher

Tim DeChristopher

Tim DeChristopher, environmental activist and co-founder of Peaceful Uprising and the Climate Disobedience Center, is widely known for disrupting a Bureau of Land Management auction in order to protect over 150,000 acres of public lands in Utah. He spent nearly two years in prison for this action, despite the Obama Administration later determining that the auction was illegal. Following prison, Tim attended Harvard Divinity School believing that his conviction was reflective of a larger moral crisis in this country. Tim has used his many platforms to highlight the urgency of the climate crisis and to call for bold action to create a just and healthy world. He currently lives in Maine where he continues to work on climate issues and to help rebuild connections to the Earth through regenerative farming.
